Currently a size 6.25, this ring could be stretched to a 6.5. This opal is a solid opal, not a doublet and is completely natural.

Opal rates at approx. 5.5-6.5 on the mohs scale which is a similar hardness to glass. It is, therefore very important that you treat your opal very carefully and avoid subjecting it to force or to any other activities that could potentially damage or break it. It is advisable to remove your opal jewelry while bathing, showering or doing any creative activities (gardening, cooking, etc).
