Beautiful and one of a kind, Dendritic Agate starbursts set in 14k gold with 14k gold flower tops. These earrings measure 30mm long from top of the gold flower to the edge of the silver border. They are 15mm at the widest point of the teardrop. The 14k bezels are 3mm wide and are soldered onto a sterling silver backplate.The gold flowers were cast (using the lost wax process from actual flowers) and are solid 14k gold. The posts are 14k gold and they will come with large sterling silver ear nuts for comfort.

Agates are a variety of Chalcedony which is a part of the Quartz family. The inclusions are the result of iron oxide or manganese oxide. Iron oxides result in the orange to red color and manganese oxide creates black designs. These feathery inclusions are called dendrites.
