Beautiful dendritic agate earrings featuring amazing examples of nature's artistry. These are natural dendritic agates from the Narmada River in India area where they are mined by local craftsman using old world techniques to create unique works of art. The 14k flowers are approximately 3/8" in diameter and are cast from actual flowers using the lost wax process. The earring posts on the back of the flowers are 14k gold. The dendritic agates are set in 14k gold bezel wire with a back plate of sterling silver. They measure about 7/8" in length and 1/4" in width.

Agates are a variety of Chalcedony which is a part of the Quartz family. The inclusions are the result of iron or manganese. These feathery inclusions are called dendrites.
