Petite Monarch Opal earrings set in sterling silver with sterling silver locking French wires. These little beauties are perfect for everyday-lightweight, comfortable and go with everything! From the top of the ear wire to the bottom, they measure 7/8" long and are 3/8" wide.

These flashy opals are called "Monarch Opals". They are lab grown in the US. To get the GIA certification that they have, a product must be chemically the same as the natural product and Monarch Opals are! There are no dyes used. They are comprised of nanoparticles of silica dioxide that refract light into colors. Monarch Opals are very durable-you don't need to worry about soap, perfume or lotions discoloring them. You can shower or swim in them, no worries about the colors or sparkle changing. Monarch opals vary, just like natural opals. The stones you receive may or may not be the ones in the photo. I do try to match them as close as possible.
