Flashy and bright, this hexagon ruby is set in a 14k gold bezel with a sterling silver backplate and sterling silver band. This beautiful stone is 8mm across, each side measures about 5mm with a 3mm 14k gold bezel. The top of the ring is 10mm and the straight ring shank is 3mm wide. This ring is a size 6.75 and can be stretched to a 7. If neither is your size, I do have some similar stones with which I could make you a custom sized ring to fit you perfectly. This is a natural ruby and hasn't been dyed, heated or filled.

Ruby is a variety of corundum which, in its natural state is colorless. Chromium is the trace element that gives rubies their beautiful red color and can range from pink to dark red. The name Ruby comes from the Latin "ruber"which means red,which is considered the color of love and passion.
