This gorgeous stone measures 11mm square. The 14k gold bezel is 4mm wide. The sterling band has a 14k square on either side of the stone. This ring is a size 7 1/2 and can be stretched to a size 8. Rutilated Quartz is a variety of quartz that has inclusions of rutile. Rutile is a a type of titanium dioxide. These rutiles can be arranged in a star like bundle or also may appear random. Rutilated quartz is valued for the quality of its inclusions and a star like formation is considered the most desirable.
