Two beautiful natural turquoise pendants in sterling silver on 18" sterling silver chains. The left side is Royston turquoise and it measures 3/4" wide by 1" long, including the sterling beaded border. The back of the pendant is hand pierced with the silhouette of a bird resting on a branch. I have shown it on an 18" sterling silver ball chain, but it is also available on the snake chain shown on the other pendant.

The pendant on the right is Whitewater turquoise. It measures 1/2" wide by 1" long, including the sterling beaded border. The back of this pendant is hand pierced with a wave motif. It is shown on an 18" snake chain, but the ball chain shown on the Royston is also an option.

Whitewater turquoise comes from Arizona and is considered to be highly desirable for its beautiful aqua color and its interesting crystal patterns, mixing the aqua colored turquoise with white quartz.

Royston turquoise is known for its incredible range of bright colors. Blue, green and even yellow swirl through the golden brown matrix, making wonderful natural patterns. The Royston mine has been in operation since the early 1900's and produces some beautiful material, although in limited quantities.
