Bright green faceted Chrome Diopside set in 14k yellow gold. The cushion shape measures 8mm by 6mm and the pear shape is also 8mm by 6mm. These hand fabricated rings are bezel set with a solid 14k yellow sheet back. The band is 2mm wide. Other shapes and sizes are also available, just convo me for photos.

Chrome Diopside originates in Siberia and was discovered in the early 1800's. It gets its name from the Greek words "dis" and "opse" which mean two faced. This refers to the two ways of cutting the gem, depending on its orientation. This gem is sometimes referred to as "Siberian emerald" as it has the color of good quality emerald.
