Beautiful and completely natural Dendritic Agate set in a 14k gold bezel with an oxidized sterling silver border, this pendant is 1" wide. From the top of the pendant loop to the bottom edge of the shadow box, it is 1 3/8" long. It's shown with an 18" oxidized wheat chain and is also available with a sterling silver rolo chain. If you have your own chain, you can purchase just the pendant by itself. The back of this pendant is embossed with a floral pattern to echo the flower theme of the front.

Agates are a variety of Chalcedony which is a part of the Quartz family. The inclusions are the result of iron oxide or manganese oxide. Iron oxides result in the orange to red color and manganese oxides create black designs. These feathery inclusions are called dendrites.
