Beautiful and unique, Confetti Chrysocolla set in sterling silver with 14k gold ball accents, these earrings measure 1 1/4" long by 1/2" wide. I've pierced out the backside of these earrings so these amazing stones can really show off their beauty. There are pieces of chrysocolla suspended in quartz in various shades of teal, aqua and green-just so cool for anyone who appreciates unusual gems! As a side note, both stones have a drusy "pocket". This is a crystalline area, about 3mm in diameter that doesn't go all the way through to the back and adds an interesting detail in the natural stone.

These gems originate in the Bacan archipelago in Indonesia. They are a mixture of chrysocolla, malachite and native copper in a silicate. These earrings are available as shown with a sterling silver latch back or a sterling silver french wire.
