One of a kind 14k gold statement ring featuring a snakeskin agate stone that measures 12mm long by 9mm wide. The 14k gold band has a scalloped design that echoes the pattern in the stone. This is a hand fabricated ring with a solid back that is hallmarked.

Snakeskin agate comes from Madura Island, Indonesia. Although it looks like snake skin, it is actually a composition of multiple tiny fossilized palates of ancient fish. They are made from the crusher mouth plate of a fish called a Wrasse. It is a very hard substance that takes a nice polish. Each stone is unique and has its own beautiful pattern. This ring is a size 6.5 but can be stretched to a size 7. I have other cabochons of this beautiful material so if you would like a different size, just convo me for a photo of available options.
