Beautiful and completely natural, this aquamarine cabochon is set in a sterling silver locking bangle bracelet. This amazing stone which looks like the color of the sea, measures just under 1" by 5/8" wide. The right side has a hinge design which allows for easy access. Once on, it is clicked in place by the curve on the left. This bracelet will fit an average sized wrist. Let me know if you are looking for a bracelet a bit roomier or maybe a bit more snug. This bracelet is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day. The locking feature keeps it safely on (unlike some cuff bracelets). Aquamarine is the name that was derived from the original "Aquamarina", which meant water of the sea. It can range from pale blue, almost clear to a deep rich aqua, like this one. This deep color is the most prized. It is about 7.5 to 8 on the scale of hardness so with normal wear, it will be fine. It is the birthstone for March.
