Beautiful and rare, Golden Hills turquoise is also know as Kazahstan turquoise because it originates in Eastern Kazakhstan. These earrings measure 7/8" from the top loop to the bottom of the 14k gold ball and 3/8" wide. Teh three gold balls are all solid 14k gold.They are lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day and into the evening. They are set in sterling silver and the backs are embossed for a bit of extra detail. I have used latch backs for their better security (than a french wire).
This gorgeous material is rare and is considered a high end, gem quality, collector's type of turquoise. There is not a lot of this turquoise available because mining is restricted. It was discovered in 2013 and introduced to the US in 2018 where it quickly gained admirers. Because of its beautiful and unusual coloring and patterns, it commands a premium.
